At the end of January I decided to go dairy-free for a while and see what happened. I wrote about it here. It’s not the first time I’ve experimented with that. I spent a few months when I lived in Barcelona avoiding dairy, which meant passing on the cortados for a while. As in the [...] The day started with a bowl of steel-cut oats cooked with turmeric, scallions, and sun-dried tomatoes and served with tamari sauce, sesame seeds, and a sprinkle of dulse. I tried supplements and stopped because I don’t care what anybody says – I don’t think my urine should be bright orange/yellow/green.
