After chatting this morning with a fellow food fanatic friend (wow, talk about alliteration!) about the wonders of good ricotta, I had to snatch it up when I came across it at my neighbourhood grocer. It made a perfect base for a fresh summer dessert: a slice of buffalo ricotta, topped with sweet yellow plums, [...] Last night we had roasted sausages & grapes, served with mashed sweet potatoes and a salad made of fennel, kohlrabi, tomatoes and basil. Yummy. |
